Joe Cole replied to Bob Shirk's discussion what would you buy?
"Cost wise, I would go with a Chamsys MQ60...  when they finally release the thing.  Rider wise it's kind of hard to say.  that will depend on your market. Take a good look at what shows you plan on doing and see if you can't…"

Joe Cole replied to Clark Wilbanks's discussion ArtNet information...?
"If you're in a corporate environment or building you can usually isolate a few lines in specific places and isolate the ArtNET system via the hard patch (often located in a network room somewhere).   It's probably the easiest and…"

Joe Cole replied to Justin Lang's discussion Are Battery LED Uplighters the Way to go?
"They are certainly awesome when it comes to a quick set in a simple room. It's the control I keep having issue with.   I've seen quite a few systems out there but only a very few with really reliable wireless DMX system built…"

"Short answer...   buy direct and save on some of the initial investment.   Just don't buy too cheap or you'll end up with a pile of junk. "

Joe Cole replied to SDCEvents's discussion Company growing faster than cash flow.
"As a side note to that above commentary I would say that I will not encourage you to go looking for rip off products.  Like the Sharpy Clone or the fake mac101.  In most cases chinese no brand movers are not worth the trouble.   The…"

"How obsessed with name brand recognition are you?   From what you're telling me about the types of shows you're doing I"m guessing LED plays a huge role in your rentals/events.   Keep in mind that a majority of the…"
