Lycian M2 Gobo Projection

I have an event coming up that requires a gobo to be projected some serious distance.I own Lycian M2 long throw (2500w) followspots that have a gobo slot.Has anyone actually used it for this application?  Does the holder accommodate glass gobos?I was cautioned not to use glass as someone had problems with cracking.Any tips?By the way attached is a photo of a gobo on a mountainside in Hawaii (done with Mac 2k Profiles) that I had made for my wife, Young when we married......See More
