Digital Playback Devices
Has anyone had experience with simple Digital Playback devices instead of media servers? I know they are used frequently in the digital sign buisness but Im looking for something that will both loop and take an initial "go" from a MIDI, SEMPTE, or DMX trigger to initial the loop of content at the begining of the day. The video potion of the installation will need to sync with various other lighting systems to work together for musical timing.Any ideas?See More

Budget, we have a good amount to play with...but exact numbers are still being put into place. As an estimate lets say 50,000 for the entire video portion of the show as a guess.

I know this forum is meant for content creation, not playback but there doesnt seem to be an area for my question at this time. I figured the people creating the content are probably also solving playback problems sometimes too...so I figured what the heck I would put my question here and see what happens. Thanks!
