With the recent slump in the economy I have noticed more and more companies are decreasing their crew and not bringing on any new techs. I am very new into this industry and I am constantly seeking any advice that could help me learn and grow.

My husband and I are both lighting tech's / designers and this leaves us in such a shotty spot. We have pursued many companies up here in Pennsylvania ((we are from Orlando but came up here for the time being to try to get ourselves a little… Continue

Good for you! I saw a demo during Broadway Lighting Masterclass in 2006 and it really seemed like a good board. Unfortunately, it's price is also really good. Here in the Philippines, we have yet to convince venue administrators to invest in such controls. We had a demo here last year but there were no takers. Avolites and ETC are enjoying a major share of the market here. Of course, the Chinese copies are also starting to come in.

How is the video component capability?

I completely agree. I'm an x musician and one of my keyboard players went to some of their audio classes, he learned a ton because he asked a lot of questions and stayed after hours to play with all the toys. He runs one of the top audio companies in San Fran now.

Too many kids with no ambition give the school a bad rap at times.

Nice to meet you.

When did you graduate from Full Sail? I'm about 20 minutes away from there, how'd you like the school?
