Kids, quick, safe easy water. Try the good ol' martin DC-1's. They make a cool water ripple. Only 250w but for what you're doing that's probably fine.

Stone Mountain! I used to live in Atlanta! I now live in Orlando as well. I have actually been here for over a year now. Guess how many shows I have done in Orlando???.. Yep big 0. All my shows have been out of state or Miami. I have been to Miami three times in the last year. Weird.. Hmm. Water ripple effect.. you can try a duel gobo rotator or maybe an effects wheel from GAM products. If you have a little budget and a lighting controller that can control a moving light or two. The Mac 700 has a great effects generator that can manipulate water. Or get a little 2000 lumen projector and loop a water video.

Hi anyone out there have a cool idea of how to create a water ripple effect without a gobo!!!! I tried reflecting a gelled light on a pan of water it works but its kinda weak.....I'm working with 11 year old kids for stage hands and want to keep them safe and dry.....The show is Suessical Jr. (a musical based on Dr Suess Books) a middle school production

I am beginning to see movement in the theme parks, retrofits, small changes in shows. I am currently working on Christmas Decor, Shows and Effects for Stone Mountain Georgia. I find that most of my work is out of town and not here in Orlando, Central Florida... anyone see new work on the horizon?
