Good question...
So in less than a day we turned around and made a Lighting/Audio console? Really?
To be honest the announcement was supposed to be the very same day the Harman deal was announce... but as a simple and humble employee of Martin I wasn't aware of that until that morning,(although the rumor mills was going strong) so we postponed the teaser announcement to today.
For those would could be interested, such project as this upcoming console can take up to two years of development. So its not like you see a console from a competitor and a few months later you make your own. A lot more goes behind the scene.Someday it would be very nice to have TV crew following such development… but they might get bored too…
Anyway, to answer your question ”What is Martin up to now?”
We are up to create a complete solution from controller, video server, visualizer, video processor, fixtures , screen, (and maybe audio consoles too now) that is well integrated together,
I strongly believe 2013 will be a very interesting year for Martin! Glad to be on that side of the game!
